I'm having a real hard time setting up the T6EX. And i'm new. Well new to this Tx, as I had a HBK2 before this HDX450 i'm on, and the Tx was all setup from the factory and couldnt be altered much. I tried yours Dogsbody to no success.

Anyway, i'm having a bear of a time setting up this Tx. I've scoured these forums and found some good posts, and tried some different setups, but have failed miserably lol. I was hoping some kind soul who had a little time on thier hands could go over what I have, and possibly tell me if I have something wrong. I'll try to explain in as much detail as I can with my limited knowledge on all of this.

Heres what i'm working with....

HDX-450 New
3-TowerPro SG-90's and a SG-50 on the tail.
Telebee Headlock and Standard Dual Rate Gyro
Sonix 30amp ESC
Futaba R607FS 2.4 Receiver
Futaba T6EX Transmitter

**Is it wired correctly?**
As far as wiring, looking at the front of the heli, you have the three servos on the swash. One on the rear center that connects to the single rear servo (elevator?) which has a post on the swash ball mount that glides up and down in a guide. This servo is plugged into Ch.2 on the Rx.

Then there are two gyros on each front "corner" of the swashplate, one at 4 o'clock, and one at 8 o'clock.

The front left (8'oclock) servo is plugged into Ch. 1

The front right servo is plugged into Ch. 6

My ESC plugs into Ch. 3

The Gyro 3-wire adapter plugs into Ch. 4

The Gyro 1-wire adapter (I believe this is the HH switch?) plugs into Ch. 5, with the wire in the terminal closest to the antennae side of the Rx.

I've tried 4-5 different sets of settings I have tried from others and adjusted myself, and i'll most likely try once more tonight depending on how late I want to stay up lol, and i'll try to post some settings I am working with after getting to a point where at least all my servos are functioning correctly and the right direction. I did get to that point but when I tested it, I found it took almost full throttle to even lift the heli, but even when I did get it to function that once, the ESC gave a boat load of beep codes for about 3 minutes. It kept doing the same sequence like it was trying to restart every 30 seconds or so.

Anyway, if anyone is flying the same setup, if you could send me your settings to give a try it would be much appreciated and you might save me from pulling the rest of my hair out lol http://www.heliguy.com/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
Thank you and any more information I could provide please ask.

Blackrock, I have the same heli and same radio, and will try and help you out...

What exactly is the problem you are having?

Sounds like you may have some pitch issues if your heli took almost full throttle to lift off of the ground. Do you have a pitch guage? What is your Normal Pitch curve? What is your pitch at low stick, mid stick, and high stick?

Hey thanks for the reply Mini! Sorry I didnt come back to this post to reply that I had resolved the issue, but I did lol. Found an answer on another post here. All I had to do was adjust my pitch settings and reverse one servo and so far i'm good to go! Coming off of a HBK2, this heli flies awesome, I love it.
Thanks again!
