Been flying my Gaui 200 for a few weeks now and have about 20 flights on it when all of a sudden today it locked in negative pitch and the motor would not stop running while in hold during the crash. After the crash of course it was connected. I am going to send the rx in for testing and consider getting the T.T. and carbon control rod for the tail.
6100 rx
Has anyone had similar problems?

Wow, sorry to hear that! No I have never had that, have heard some glitching issues with 6100 and static discharge.... was the belt lubed? was the rx in in the back? I'm not really knowledgeable enough to take a educated guess, all I can say is man... that bites, sorry to hear that.

Ya my receiver is in front and I did not lube the belt. I pretty much refuse to lube a belt. I beleive that there should be a mechanical solution for static or it should have been built out of the machine during R&D.
Well I will rebuild and send in the rx.

Hard to say what the problem was but Spektrum has updated the rx software to "reboot" quickly in the case of a brownout. They are also offering free replacements of old 1.x firmware rx to 1.6. Check their website on directions for getting a replacement.
