http://www.zenoah.net/index.html

Go here and look at Hobby motors and then for the motor you wish to reference. Use the "product list" to do this (on the left of the screen).

I don't know Hanson specs, try his site or give him a call.

As far as power for the Spectra-G, the Toxic G-231 modified motor has proven itself time and again. Check out the Video forum to see my Specta-G using that motor. I am now using a tuned pipe, but even without the pipe the motor performs the best IMO.

thanks,

is the toxic 231 more or less like the g26?

The Toxic G-231 has the best USABLE power of any of the gas motors to date. The G-26 may have potential in the future but is unhappy in my R/C helis at this time. The prototype Toxic G-26 has proven to work very well and be very smooth so far. I am breaking-in a new TRM G-26 now and will be testing new ratios for its use ASAP. The stock ratio that the Spectra-G comes with lets the G-26 run outside of its intended operating parameters. Re-gearing should take care of this.

Hope this helps!

when you say ' outside ' , head unloading or loading?

By "outside" I mean the gear ratio at the desired head speed , has the motor turning too many RPM. If the motor RPM were lowered, the head speed would be less than optimum or desired.
