View Full Version : Futaba 12FGA or 12FG or wait for 10C

I am returning from a 5 year break and need a new radio but, I didnt want to spend a ton however looks like I cant say no.
So what are your opinions. I dont know what the difference is between the 15 variations of the 12 are.

Well first there is only 2 12 channel Futaba radios. The 12Z and the 12FG.

The 12Z only comes in 72 mhz at this time. You would have to buy the 2.4 ghz module and receiver separate if that is the way you wanted to go.
Well I stand corrected about 2.4. Tower says it will be here in late March.

Here is the new 10 Channel. For the price I would get the 10 channel. I have a friend that is wanting a new 2.4 ghz radio and he is going to wait on the 10C. He already has a 9C that is 72 mhz. So he will have no problem with the 10c.

what are the differences minus the 2.4g i have looked but only found references to programing options nothing specific.

I'm very excited about the T10... seams to be a reasonable priced good transmitter. I'll replace my 9z with this one. FASST is implemented via digital module and the German distributor said they're working on a solution to mount the antenna in front...
