At the point of my build where I'm installing the servos. Now Finless may already cover this, but I'm kinda getting ahead of myself...I installed the servos and thought I'll go ahead and put on the Align wheels on my Futaba s9452's...and then thought, why not go ahead and center the servos so long as I got the wheels on , right? Just playin at this point...Anyways, I try and plug the servos into my Spectrum AR6200 receiver and they won't fit !! All the servos have this little tab that runs along the side of the plug-in, but this tab prevents it from going into the receiver...?? Has anyone come across this? Do you just cut off that little tab with an xacto knife or something??

Thanks

Just cut the tab off. I think Futaba is the only one still using that little tab, which was used so you don't plug it in backwards but with new servos it won't burn anything up, it just won't work if it's backwards.

That's what I figured, but I wanted to ask b4 I went ahead with the cutting...thanks..and you also answered my next question...about installing them backwards. So no worries about burning them up...excellent

Thanks again.

why are you running a 6200 rx out of curiousity?

Cuz I had the DX6i transmitter from the Blade 400 (6 channels) and was just going to start with this one on the Trex for now....the 6200 is the 6 channel one, the 7000 is for the DX7(7 channels). (probably my next puchase down the road)

You may also have to cut a slight bevel on two of the corners after cutting off the tab.

I know you don't need to on 6100s, and you do need to on 7000s, but can't remember about the 6200.

I ended up just having to cut off the tabs and that worked fine....next step is the control rods and centering the wheels...almost there !! :clappp
