G'day, eh.
Just wondering what most people use for servos for cyclics and collective, I have some JR 8631 with a listed 88 oz/in torque. Enough for most purposes? What about a JR 8311 on collective, at 125 oz/in. I intend to put the Intrepid 90 mechanics in a Hughes 500E fuselage. But my build stalled about 8 months ago when the twins were born.. but getting back into it now.
Cheers,
Vince

For your intended purpose, those should work just fine. One of the benefits of a true push pull system is that lesser power servos can still work the system, and that you can mix and match the servos to their purpose, such as having a stronger servo on collective, or faster servos on cyclics.

8 month old Twins, are you sure you have the time?? :)

Hi Chris,
Time is relative, after a couple months of almost no sleep for more than 2 hours unbroken,
I found I'm good at 5 hours a night. So most nights I'm up at 2:00 picking away at the helis
or on the internet or on the Flight sim. In theory if I work on the heli for 20 minutes 3 times a week, that's a whole hour, which is hard to find by itself. Winter means not much going on outside anyway..
Cheers, Vince
