I ordered a LogicTech LTG-2100T SMM Gyro + LTS-3100G Servo for my Hurricane 200. But because I got the chance to buy a Spartan DS760 for little money I'm now searching for good digital tail servo for the DS760 because I think I won't use the LogicTech combo.

Please post your suggestions. Thank you in advance! :)

What about e.g. the Futaba 9257? Too big?

You need a small digital servo like the Futaba S5134. Spartan-RC says the S5134 must be setup properly not to overheat though.

if you look into Bob review of spartan there is small warning to awoid s3154. He suggests to focus maybe on s3153.

the guy from spartan said the 3154 was ok to use now.

Why don't you try the LTS-3100G Servo as its got the best specs out of all the servos under 10grams. Im trying this with the 401 when my 200 arrives next week.

However, note that my views about this servo are not related to the ds760. Search the forums and you will see that a number of people have reposted the overheating issue irrespective of what gyro is used. In conclusion I think the performance of this little servo is marginal for tail use on a 450 size heli. Some people use it with good results, others don't. If you decide to go with it just keep an eye on the temperature for the first few flights.

Angelos,

We are using this on a 200 class heli. Do you think this small heli will have the same heat issues. Has anyone reported heat issues with the Gaui 200 ?
