I made a template for documenting models programmed into the DX7 and am sharing it - it has an airplane and helicopter tab. (maybe someone will complete it for a novice Trex 450 SE V2 and shoot it back to me):o

You can't really share setups because each heli si different. You need to go throught he setup. See the Finless vidoes on how to do this.

As my signature says - I do watch Finless unless you are responding to others. AND if you brought the spreadsheet up - it has no settings - its a tool not a program. I am sharing it for anyone who wants it.
I see your responses all over the place - as a matter of fact, I look for your responses when a thread has become a debate - I feel like you are somewhat of final authoirty - you along with Finless and a couple of others - thats a compliment.
However, how long has it been since you started because it seems like your response is typical - Have you forgotten what it is like to be a beginner? Unless you started as a kid, I think that many of us beginners ask for settings because it is all so overwelming with building, flying, tuning, crashing we are reaching out for whatever help we can get. And many of the settings are the same. If anyone has done some proper research it becomes obvious that many of the settings ARE NOT exactly alike bewtween helis - like you said. And oftens times people want confirmation as to what they have come to understand by asking several sources. And some aspects of the subject video are debated.
The spreadsheet I offered is for whatever use - personally and a few others confirm its usefulness - It's a way to document your settings for different models - if your DX7 gets run over you have a place to go to reprogram a new DX7 without guessing some parameters or looking at scribble.
If we could USB our DX7 up to the PC and copy the settings over either way then that would be perfect.

Actually I like the spreadsheet, and I know it is empty. Of course it doesn't help me since I run a 9303. :) But I just used a copy machine.
I was responding to:

And not everyone has signatures turned on for speed.
But I WAS in a hurry the morning.
But no need to get so riled up. Take a deep breath, relax, and go setup your heli so you can go fly. :)

not riled - just stating position, clarifying
I breath pretty good without advice and am relaxed except comcast almost did not get the fight ordered properly, and need a more powerful soldering iron before I proceed
