Hy everybody,
Here is my first semi scale heli. My initial project was to fit my Raptor 550 E in a Funkey fuse 30 size. After many test the mecanic don't fit in this fuse.
Finaly, I put in the agusta an other Heli, my Hurricane 550 carbon.
I have made the first fly today and ....It is wonderfull.

Hello guys,
Here is somme digital photos of the first fly and one of the inside of the Agusta. There is no vibe at all . Just he is one kg more heavy from the hurricane original and need more rpm for stationary and translation.
My curve is now 0, 35, 70, 85, 100
Have fun with your heli and greats from belgium

Looks great! What blades and gearing are you using? The mounting box looks pretty beefy -- what kind of wood did you use?

Is the Hurricane 550 an easy fit on the Funkey Agusta? I have the same fuselage on my Hirobo Shuttle Plus 2, and I just love watching it flying around with the gear retracted.

The blades are NHP 515 mm. With the Z20 980 and this blades he works perfectly . The Hurricane fit in this fuse like a foot in a sock, not dificult but you have to make a solid box to avoid vibration. The box inside is plywood 3mm and 5mm, this box is glued and fixed with 3mm bolt. Here is somme other pictures for the inside .

For the Agusta 109 you have choice of blue or red version. If you want a police hely i think the beter is the MD500.

Dear Skydude,
It is great if you begin scale, Don't forget to post shoots of your first realisation. My second one will be an Ecureuil from Thunder Tiger for relook my TT 550 E.
Have good day and safety fly.

Hi there, I'm new here and was just reading some of the scale threads. I know this thread is a couple of months old but I wanted to make a comment. If your looking for a police heli along the lines of the 109 style airframe, Victoria police (Australia) have a Dauphin police heli. And back in the day, London ASU (England) had a couple of the first Bell 222's.file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Robert/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpghttp://homepage.ntlworld.com/srn4/met2.jpg

nice shoot of a couple of nice machine.
If i consider that the MD500 is a good base for a police hely, it is only for the reason that the fuse exist with the paint police decoration.
If you want to seld made the paint there are many posibilities of Hely, agusta for italian gardia del financia, Ecureuil from many country police or BO from German police ....
All are very beautifull and the choice will be difficult.
