View Full Version : Align Muffler - Quick Question
I need to fix the pressure nipple into the Align Muffler - What should I use..?
I know Locite (243 Blue) is released by heat so that won't work...!
Thx,
L.

I've used JB weld with good results.
Thx helical - Don't have any JB weld ~ do you think Epoxy (30Min) would work..?

Sure 30 min would work but I have never glued the pressure fitting in and never had any probs - the aluminium being soft tends to act a bit like a nyloc fitting

30 min epoxy will not work, the temps are too hot. get some JBweld best thing for that job, and you can get it at any hardware store. Has many uses, wont be a waste of money

Just screw it in and make sure its tight but don't strip the aluminum threads, mine has dozens of flights on it that way.

I would use an MP5 to fix it. That way it would solve your noise problem too! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):) :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
