I just received my spare spindle and blade grip parts and was dissapointed to find there is no blade grip screws in them, which is primarily what I was after. My blade grip screw is bent that goes through the grip to the spindle shaft. What parts bag has this or is it some standard screw I can go to a lhs/radioshack and get? thanks

I brought a few sets from flying hobby part no. 832010 but then I went into my local tool shop and found pozi drive machine screws these are 10mm x m2 they are zonc so bend when they should if you know what I mean. ps brought 50 for the same price as 20 of the Gaui parts also brought a matching screw driver as pozi have 8 slots in the head and I managed to ruin a head on one of the phillips Gaui parts.

Nice. The grips come with screws to go through the blade, I noticed those are the same that go into the spindle, so i'll use those and pick up the extra gaui ones on my next order. thanks

i believe those are standard m2x8 socket-head bolts...you use a standard 1.5mm hex driver...ken

the screws going from grips into the spindle are definitely philips head

sorry, what i meant to say was that the phillips-head bolts are probably the same as m2x8 socket-head bolts, like these...(i could be wrong on the length)...ken

you guys have an interesting way of measuring the stock screws are 10mm total length which I believe is how you measure screws. I had to order some over the phone and that was how they told me to measure.

hi jad, good to know...socket-head bolts are described by the length of the threaded shaft...btw, i recall that one poster replaced all the phillips-head screws with socket-head bolts...i've already replaced some of mine...ken

I run the 2x10 (correct measurement is the threaded portion) socket heads in the blade grips with no issues. I believe 2x8 would be better but my lhs didn't have that size.
