Stratus almost finished

Guys,

I am almost finished the Stratus. I just wanted to share some pics (there is 6 feet of snow on the ground up here in Canada and I am bored!). A couple of more steps, then I just need to finish the wiring, and then do the final ccpm set-up. Hopefully it will fly!!!

Oh man, are you in for a treat. When you get her all dialed in, you are going to love her. They move like a fish through water. I had some troubles getting my fan/ clutch alignment right, but when I did...
I really can't put into words how good this heli feels. Limber and rock solid at the same time, like an extension of you in the sky.

I am in the process of finishing our second Stratus now.
The heli is actually fun to build :)

Thanks! It is a great build. I definitely needed all of my patience at some points along the way, but I now have all of the equipment that you really need to build a heli like this, so the next one will be that much sweeter!

I'll wait until late spring to post any vids...I don't want to bore anyone to death with youtube videos of hovering!!! Back to the sim...
