There was an earlier post by"Dood" that was a template for setting up the DX7. Can't find it any longer and am having a terrible problem getting off the ground. Every time I throttle up, my bird lays to the right and crashes. I've taken out all the dual rates and have done everything else I can remember that should be done... Can someone please post all the proper settings for the DX7?
In your swash setup make sure you only have it set up for 1 servo...
hope this helps..:YeaBaby:

:bananaTHANKS! I think I've got it worked out. Appears to have been a calibration issue. I recalibrated a couple of more times and the problem has gone away...

Is there a step-by-step instruction? I went over to knifeedge.com and there is a sticky for the Dx6i to G4 but I was unable to connect using that instruction. It seems as if nothing is going for me today. I can't get the Dx7 to bind with the CX2 either.:arggg::arggg:

I finally just figured all this out myself. I was stupidly using an airplane profile in my DX7 because that was the way I had it set up on RealFlight. I hadn't realized that Phoenix takes advantage of the "pitch" channel so you can use your real pitch and throttle curves from your radio. YAY it all works great now.
One piece of advice I can give for people still trying to get this right is that when you go to calibrate your radio, make sure you have your pitch and throttle curves on your radio temporarily set to go -100 to +100. That way Phoenix knows what -100% and +100% on both channels really is. After that set your curves however you like.
