I am working on a Hirobo Huey that comes with the factory white paint applied. I am washing the whole thing down, inside and out then wet sanding with 320 grit. Being this was already painted once, should I shoot a light coat of primer or just go on to detailing? Rivits, panels, ect.......... I should mention that I am using automotive paint for the fuelproof factor. Thanks.

Is it white paint or is the fuse gel coated in white? Either way I'd prime it before and after putting my details on, and before spraying your automotive colors.

Hey thanks. I do believe it is the gell coat and not paint as I listed. Seems the general concensis is to prime so that is what I'll do.
