Progammed mode 1 then 4 in my Jazz. Using 13T of course.

What throttle curve & headspeed are you guys running? Btw I'm using the flybar head and Radix blades on my 600.

What's the highest throttle curve you can run? I read somewhere it was 85% and any more was a bad idea? Needs room to throttle up when loaded/losing HS?

And the most efficient? Surely if you run a low curve/HS it will get hotter.

See, there is no way to tell if you have the right gearing or not. With the CC85, you gear it to get the HS you want at 75% fixed throttle which is what the governor operates around.

I have the Logo 5003D, not the 6003d - but hear most of the guys are running around 2100 - 2150, even though you can go up to around 2300. 2150 is plenty for 3D,

Just set a flat line curve around 70-75% straight across and flip out of throttle hold and check your head speed with a tach.

just adjust the flat-line curve higher or lower to suite what speed you are looking for. For example - 70% may equate to 2050 in Normal and Idle 1 maybe 2150.

Good Luck,
Jeff

Start @70% and as stated tach the headspeed, stay under 2350. The governor works best between 70-75% for sure.

Hmm, just came back from my first sucessful flights with the 55-10-32! This is my 2nd one as the first was DOA.

Damn, it sure spools up smoothly! Now I know what they hype is all about. I also love the self-diagnosis LED. The CC didn't talk back at all. ;)

Ok, so I started with 70% and this gave me 2340rpm. 65% was about 2280rpm. Flew like that and the thermal cut kicked in after about 3mins of moderate 3D. This was with no mods to the ESC. Last flight I flippe dover ESC & cut away heatshrink from metal plate & sides. Worked a bit better but still cut after 3min. Gonna thermal epoxy heatsink on next.

70% 2340rpm was a bit high, my tail was vibrating up & down slighty & very fast. Dropping to 65% 2280rpm stopped this.

Is 65% too low?? When will Mikado release the mythical 12T pinion?? After the Aurora is out probably!

Btw the governor is excellent, stays within 30rpm except for dropping more than that in heavy pitch maneuvers and to 2040rpm in full 14 degs climbout which is ok isn't it?

The Neu 1912 may be too high KV motor, plus timing differences for the current Kontronik controllers. My 1912 would thermal all the European controllers, even with serious heat sink mods.

Since treating the belts on my Logos with Graphit 33 I have made 100s of flights with the CC 85HV(gov gain 41%) and it is perfect with V stabi. More usable power than any other setup I have seen. And it is reliable.

On another note we have a very powerful setup with the Heli Expert and a Schulze 32-80, I understand the Power Jazz likes this motor as well.
