Same crappy flying, same crappy quality but NEW canopy its a trex blue canopy and the silver on the sides is hologram so at diff angels it reflects diff colors.

My crappy cam will probably not show it, plus there is not much sun today might have something to do with it but here it is and I'll include a still pic so it might show it better.

EDIT: Is the Trex canopy easier to put on and take off?

I'm curios about the canopy as well. Is it an easy mod and how well does it fit with larger batteries?

Actually, no. It doesnt want to spread. Instead of putting the groumets on the canopy I had them on the stick to help keep it away from the gears. Have to push one groumet to the body, slide one side and then the other then push grouments outward.

Thing is though, this canopy is TRUE fiberglass got it from heli-direct for 20 bucks where as the yellow,red,blue got from LHS for 24 bucks and its still the same cheap plastic.

no real mods made, fits fine with all my batteries largest = 2250 25C Loong-Max

Yeah that was just a quick test in wind before rains started. I'd like to get black/yellow (steelers) but I guess black would be hard to see.

Thanks, I might have to think about getting one myself as I really don't like the canopy that comes with the 400.
