I just lost my C-Clip while changing the maingear at the field and I'm wondering if I can get one at a local hardware store or something? Part number #1344 just says "safety ring 10mm", is that the only measurement that's important?
I guess I'll go try my local hardware store first.

Yea all you are looking for is a 10mm c-clip.

I just picked four up for 50c a pop. I don't need special hardened ones or anything?

No it only reatains the gear, there is no force on it to speak of really. If you shim properly there is zero force on this clip.

I replace my clips after they've been removed a few times as they stretch & no longer hold on so well.
