OK, here's another dumb noob question. I'm getting everything ready to start building my TRex 450 SE V2, and I see I will need grease, CA glue, and anaerobic adhesive. What do people recommend for these? Will I need a thinner or thicker CA? Do I want it insta cure or a slower cure? What anaerobic adhesive and grease should I use? I already have med and high strength Loctite to use, I just need help on what else to have ready to start building.

Thanks all.

vwoz,
You should ONLY USE "blue" locktite on ALL srews that are screwed into metal parts.
A word of advice: Check ALL screws that are factory assembled. You may find that some
or all have no locktite on them from the factory.
Use "dielectric" grease on the thrust bearings, spindle and dampers.
The "dielectric grease" can be found at most auto parts stores.
Use a VERY SMALL drop of thin "CA" spread around the bearings that call for it.
The "CA" will replace the "anaerobic" glue
If you must or feel that you need to lube the main gear one-way bearing then use the dielectric grease or light machine oil. ( However I don't think it is necessary to do so.) Bearings, when greased, tend to collect dirt and grim and wear much faster.
Pick up some lite machine oil or "Marvel Mystery" oil. Before a flight, apply A DROP of oil
on top of the washout, swashplate and each side of the rudder pitch slider.
The THIN "CA" ( very small drop ) can also be used on screws that screw in to plastic parts.
I would recommend not useing the "CA" in plastic screw holes at first. If you don't over torque them they will hold up quite a while. But after a few removals them they may need the strength of the "CA" for a better grip. Some folk even use A LITTLE "silicone spray" on their belts.
I hope this is of some small help.
