Just bought a CX-2, flew it indoors for a month. On a very calm day I flew it outside. Being in FL the wind can come up out of nowhere and the heli (about 30 ft above ground), got an upward lift and ended up lost in a lake. I now have a transmitter, extra battery and blades. E-Flite doesn't sell the heli alone and I want to get another CX-2 without having to repurchase the whole thing. Any suggestions? THX!

Sorry to hear of your loss that bites but just keep your eyes open on here in the classified sections and look on runryder and some times you can get a deal on ebay but those two sites will get you the best deal. You dont see tomany of them for sale without the radio mainly because they are so cheap to purchase the kit might be better to try to sell the stock radio and just purchase you another one.

Diddo, sorry about your bird. But i will have to tell you, I have flown my cx2 indoors for about a month and put it down now that i purchased simulator and transmitter. I am having a ball with simulator and think it is much better practice than with coaxial helis. Conversely, not just ready to give up cx2, just in case when a purchase a new bird i will have something for inclement weather. Maybe it is time to move on!

That is true a simulater I believe would pry be your best thing and even when you get a larger heli you will still use it your CX2 will set more then it will get flowen. Sims are a must have to save money in the long run
