So, I recall a discussion on this already, but couldn't find it anywhere, so I'll just go asking again...
The instructions seem to lack info on how/where to install the bumpers on the nose for the canopy. Does anyone have a short description of how they're supposed to go on, or photos?
TIA,
John

The Logo 5003D canopy doesn't use any bumpers - the Logo 6003D uses two M3x8 bolts screwed, with 3mm spacer into the tiny hole right at the front of the frame and a longer M3x30 goes, with a 10 and a 15mm spacer into the tiny hole in the upper frame rail right at the front (this isn't shown in the manual) - cover the tops with the plastic covers and you're done !

Thanks for that. It clears up most of it...
I'm having a bear of a time getting the nyloc nuts into those holes, however. Should I be using the non-nyloc ones instead?

I didn't bother with the nuts - quite tight hole for the M3 bolt - just screwed it in and it's stayed put !

I was wondering what those bits in the bag was for.
But i'm confused as to where they go " .....the Logo 6003D uses two M3x8 bolts screwed, with 3mm spacer into the tiny hole right at the front of the frame........ " is this one for each side of the frame ?
".....and a longer M3x30 goes, with a 10 and a 15mm spacer into the tiny hole in the upper frame rail right at the fron......." and is this just on one side ? what about the other side ?
What do these bumper things do anyway ?
Thx

I do not install those anymore...in minor crashes and "rough" landings where the heli tips over...ie-sloppy autos, those standoffs will break off and leave holes/cracks in the frames which are inevitabley weak spots.
Just my opinion, but they really provide no benefits. The canopy stays on fine without them.

I just did the lower ones..... the top ones stick out to fare and looks as if to break the frames in a crash.

I'm doing the same as Lithiumstatic. Works just fine. Team-MATHEM may have the ultimate solution though....
