Hi ,

A wile back I buy the Spektrum module for the JR 9XII/9309, and I do not like the piece of plastic that screws in the origanal antenna position, to hold the new 2.4 antenna.
It broke down twice, because I need to remove the antenna so the radio fits in a suitcase.

How are you guys handeling this?

So Finaly I had it with this antenna, that I started to mod the radio.

It took me a couple of hours, but the result is no loose wire, no connector at the back

Looks like the real deal.

Tomorrow I will post a picture.

HI Jonnycrasher,

What do you mean with ariel? the attenna!

Basicly I used all the original stuff that comes with the spektrum module.

I modified the orriginal attena bye, disconnecting the connector of the attena, routed it true the top of the radio and than........

wait I will show some pictures, it more easy to understand.

If you do it like this....... I think you will loose you warranty  and you cant switch back to PCM

I basically did the same thing with my XPS module and a Blade CX2 transmitter antenna.
