Well my bird is finally finished.
Trex 600 Sport
YS 50 Engine w/ Align pipe
HS 6965's on everything except throttle
HS81 for throttle.
Futaba GY 401 Gyro
Aerospire Multigov
Align 2 in 1 regulator with Align battery
DX7 radio with AR7000 receiver
CSM Carbsmart w/HS81 servo
I ended up mounting the 2in1 switch to the Align Regulator under the electronics compartment,
I can easily turn it On/Off through the canopy hole in the bottom.
I don't have the carbsmart linkage on because I need to break in the engine first.
Now I have to wait for the weather.....

Sweet! Where did you get the canopy. I love a Red, White, and Blue color scheme.

Thanks alot for the nice remarks to all !!
Not sure when the maiden will be, I have to play it by ear.
I got the canopy at ReadyHeli.
Guys this bird has me a little intimidated, this is my first Nitro heli, all I've been flying is my Trex 450......the nerves will be there on the maiden that's for sure....

I keep hearing the 600 will be more stable than the 450, this can't hurt. You'll have to let the rest of us know how it is. Good Luck and get video or pictures.

BY FAR!I think people do it backwards, larger helis are much more stable. After a day of flying my nitros the 450 is like a little crackhead:wow2:.

take little steps first. 3 grand birds mean deeper pockets for crashes!

LOL .. little crackhead.
True though.
I tried to learn to fly in a 450. Finally , just before giving up i sold the works and bought a swift 16 (30 sized) electric.
I think i would have given up if it weren't for this move.
Now i get the moves on the sim good , then on the 600n , then after i've got them nailed on the 600n , i slowly learn them on the 450.
I recall the first larger machine i flew , it was a raptor 50 with the 30g black paddles. I though something was wrong with it. I put it into a hover and gave some right cyclic and the heli just shuffled over 5' and went back into a hover ! The 450 would have been gone and on it's way back in the same timeframe.
Your going to like the 600n. There sweet. Nice build you got there by the way.
I noticed your switch board is under the canopy. I have mine on the side myself. I like to wiggle all the sticks fast after a flight (kill engine first ) as a load test. I figure after a flight the pack is at it's weakest point.
Enjoy , there nice
Martin :)
