Well, after three great years flying with a JR9303, I decided it was time to up the ante in the form of a top-shelf radio. I just ordered a new 12FGH with FASST module and RX.

Having read Simon Lockington's review of the 12FGH, I finally had some answers on the features of this radio vs the 12Z and 14MZ. It basically has all the same features, as far as model setup capability.

I want to go 2.4GHz and been looking at that 12FGH also, the cost is the limiting factor for me...
Also thought about getting modules for the 9C...

I'm tempted to give the Airtronics RDS8000 8-channel 2.4GHz FHSS system a try.
The price is right - 229.99$ RX and TX, even cheaper if I use my AMainHobbies.com customer reward points..!

I'll let you have a gander at my 12FGH next time yer around Bay City. I would bet AirT's system would give FASST good run for it's money.
