Bought a 500 3D from my LHS and it came with only one main gear. How do I know if this is a Mod 5 or Mod 7 gear?

My guess is it would be the .5 mod gear. Older kits I believe only came with the .5 gear and the more recent ones also came with the .7 along with the .5 as well as the metal motor mount. If your LHS has had it on the shelf for a little while this is probably why you got only one.

The easy way to be sure, the mod 5 has 212 teeth, the mod 7 only 153.
