Lock i have some concerns when looking at the head.
The seesaw thats on teh blade grips, at a certain angle the linkage rod going to the swash seems to touch, have you noticed this?
Did I post a pic here ?? anyways I have NO power yet that was just a guesstimate to get me close, when I apply power (need the deans soldered to esc) then I will fine tune it all.

LOL your post has nothing to do with my head concern :)

my links are the same way, they come really close, I put these http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id=B2131397&pid=NESK7212
on and it helped a little, they are a tad shorter (height wise) then the plastic ones, but they are still at a very weird angle. but it flies so, don't think its that big of a deal, hope not at least. Waiting for daylight to go get some more flights in with it :smokin:
I was originally waiting to do my soldering cause I didn't really know how, but after watch finlessbob's video on soldering Deans it made it very easy to do.

Dont think thats the solution..... the way i see it moving the seesaw on the blade grips from the inner hole to the outter hole will be much better solution.... believe this will yield a little less pitch but hey i rather than than binding at high headspeeds and god forbid popping off of the control link.

What to set it at? I am using a Hobbywing 80A esc and stock motor (8 poles) do you set to medium?

Man, you were buzzing all over the place. I am impressed.
Also, that thing has some serious rotor wash. You can see that lamp swinging back in forth. Very nice sir! :YeaBaby:

Sweet, much more controlled than your first attempt. I still can't believe you fly a 600 size heli in your backyard. I could never do that, I like a lot of open space.

SWEET congrats on the rebuilt Lock..... looks very very stable, much better than your first one..
Now big Question, are you still using your 4 battery setup? or did you at least go down to 2 battery setup.
I just ordered my Co-Pilot that will be going in mine, :) even mroe stability and time to wipe my Arse before it browns my shorts during the flight :)
I've got my Pan/Tilt and camera already installed :)

Thanks for the comments guys.....
DUDE! you have got to clue me in on this co-pilot thing! I thought there were 2 versions, 1 would not work with CCPM and the other would not work with 2.4GHZ?
EDIT: Yes I got rid of the 4 battery setup and am using 2 3S 4300mah batteries in series.

FS8 works with CCMP but FM only (which is perfectly fine with me as i dont want 2.4 radio) so i got the Hitec Optic 6....

Kept it short, boring to watch another hover video, just wanted to show my spot landing mainly. The choppy stuff is not edits, I need a new disc it's been recorded over a million times.
The pic at the end is Helimix, I bought the horses from him. Think he marks everything he sells for return issues ;)
By the way Helimix, the far side one in the video is a little wobbly - can I get a refund or replacement? (for those that dont know, we like to poke at each other - just an inside game)
without further ado.....

Man Lock. That thing sounds mean. Amazing how much it is chopping air even as it spools down Glad to see you with the (a) 600 back in the air. Now, if can just get Otto or Murf to buy me one. :YeaBaby:
