I have both swift 620 and the e-smart. The 620 shares a lot of parts design with the e-smart but has a different frame configuration.( I don't like the battery tray underneath without any protection and limited space for electronics on the 620) The 620 has a longer tail boom but is shorter height wise. The 620 has a driven tail. Also the 620 is 2X the price of the e-smart. The e-smart is really light in weight compared to the 620 and trex 600 despite the aluminum frame. My LHS sold me mine for 180 bucks with the motor and metal head( I think I paid about 500 bucks for the swift.) Power systems are about the same(both kits uses a rebranded z-power z-30A motor. Bang for the buck, I vote for the e-smart, you can get it in the air for about under 600 bucks including batts if you shop wisely.

You can use this pack: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6414&Product_Name=ZIPPY-H_4000mAh_5S1P_25-35C_Lipoly_Pack
If you are just hovering around and sport flying. Use the 6S pack if you are into 3D. I have been using these for about a year to 1.5 years now.

You ordered them while still on BO - might be a while....but I guess you will get yours before me. I just wait until they are in stock then order.
Right now (have a mutt of batts) I have my timer set for 6 mins for all batts, but these still have plenty left. Just hovering, I'm guessing I should get 8 mins using the 80% rule of thumb.
So, I imagine if you are actually flying you will get a tad more time.

Yes, what a loud party. My son had 2 teenage bands play - momma says no more -- LOL surprised nobody complained let alone called the cops ;)
well I flew the 400 and 600 but only once each, will have to unpack to find some things (like the charger) and get more fly time in today.

Hey guys I am using Phoenix flight sim and have requested them to add the ES600 to their models. This was their response, if any of you have the digital equipment required could you take pics and send to them. Thanks
Larry
Hi Larry
Thank you for your model request. It has been forwarded to our modelling team and if demand is sufficient will be built, flight tested and released for download from our website.
If you currently own the model which you are requesting, and have access to a digital camera with a mid to high resolution (3 MegaPixels upwards) then you can help us create your model faster by taking the required digital photos yourself.
Full instructions on this process can be found on our website here: www.phoenix-sim.com/technical_models.htm (http://webmail.ca.astound.net/Redirect/www.phoenix-sim.com/technical_models.htm)
If you can provide these images then it makes it easier for our modelling team to produce your model and will make sure it is released even faster. If you need any more information on this process please let us know at aircraft@phoenix-sim.com.
Best Regards
The PhoenixRC Team
If nothing else just shoot them an e-mail requesting this model be added so they can see the demand is there. Thanks again.

The chops are not edits - crappy disc recorded over a million times. I need to make a sun lense for the camera too.....anyways this is the new canopy had to drill the holes lower.

Okay thanks and dont forget to bombard them with e-mails.....get all your buddies to e-mail them too (even if they dont have an ES600) just so they get tons of requests...
