might be to small, only one way to find out, but they only need to work for gentle FF till the better Zippy's come back in stock. My other ES600 is still sitting on a shelf, hoping to get my Tx back before I build my 2nd ES600, but if not then I'll have 2 just waiting to go fly.

You know what they say "2 is better than 1" lol, I actually have a shirt that says that :rolling

Still no pics, no biggie, main thing is you e-mail them and request for them to add es600 to their models, tell all your friend to as well. Thanks.

Got the pics thanks DierWolf - I will try to lighten them up some too. Should I wait for the ones to come before submitting?

Lock,

dont know if you posted this already or not but can you send me your settings in your radio....

test flew her last night, very very touchy she is i barely have to move the sticks and it yields alot of throw, first computer radio for heli so settings would be helpful... i have swash mix set to 70 right now. Expo doesnt seem to help.

Will do but at work now.....I know I have 30% expo on aile and elev, rudd is INH

is that all your looking for now is swash settings?

(my day is just starting so it will be a while)

DierWolf

well a complete listing would be great.

Exp's / Dual Rates / Swash Mixes etc.

Tail holds perfectly fine, and its flyable but the slightest touch on cyclic makes it do drastic things :) wold like to tune it down.

LockMD

Dierwolf,

this is what I have:

d/r expo
aile 0/100 +30%
elev 0/100 +30%
rudd 0/100 INH

travel adj
everything is at 100 except I have throttle at 120

sub trim all 0

gyro 70%

throttle curve =0-25-60-80-100
pitch curve = 0-25-50-75-100

Swash mix:

Aile +55%
Elev -55%
Pitch +80%

Does that help? let me know if I missed something.....

Did my setting help at all or did ya figure it out on your own?

What is the infomous tailbox fracture? first I've heard of it. I am gonna look for a metal tail too I dont like this design and its rubbing the boom I've got the belt as tight as I can get it.

DierWolf

cracks / fractures on the right side of the cage by one of the nuts, rendering it pretty useless...

It happened to me at about 5 ft off the ground needless to say resulting in a nasty boom strike at the same time.

i found the cnc tailbox in stock at bphobbies.com also picked up the rest of my cnc while i was at it :) So she will be full cnc.

Yes your settings helped alot, she was smooth as a babies bottom :) until...a vvvvrrrrrrrrrrr snap bang boom sound :)

LOL

at least i got a good 8 minutes of flying out of it...

If you havent heard of the problem its nothing new, the plastic really cant handle the tailspeed its carring which is why me and the other guy on here were researching swift tailboxes... i ended up just getting the esky one for now..
