What exactly does the travel adjust do? How would that affect the gyro and or rudder control. I have a 401 gyro and I know that the pot on the gyro adjust the physical limits of the tail slider. After following finless videos and reading all of the threads, I still get a slow tail drift to the left. Then while flying I give one click of rudder trim to the right and it stays.
So I move the 9257 servo closer to the frame (right rudder and it does the same). Then if I go into rate mode it really wants to piro. If I set it up to hover in rate mode without tail drift, then it slowly drifts to the left in hh mode.. This is so frustrating not to get it right. I try increasing the gain, and then I get tail wag. I have set it up to 80% (actual on the radio) 30 above 50, what ever actual gain that is I'm guessing a little over 50 % .
It is probably to high. There is no binding of the ball links, and the tail box run smooth.
Belt is adjusted right. With a small screw driver I can push it in just past the center with a little pressure. So I am not certain what to do. It is not a real inconvenience to give one or two clicks of right ruddder each battery. I first set the trim to 0 before connecting the heli battery. What else can I try?
Thanks
