As i surf the forums i see many cases of people not being totally happy with the motor choices for the L600's. Much of this is based on not that many high powered choices that are readily available right now.

I believe the Neu 1912H (i they dont self destruct) is the right size but the KV is just too high for the heli on 10s. This results in having to dial back the esc's to a level where the thing runs sweet but puts huge pressure on the esc's.

So how about one of you team players (who has battery pack sponsorship) try one on 8s using 4500mah HD or 5350 lite's running no govenor just 100% flatline.

This should allow the use of more basic but higher amp rated esc's (at much nicer prices than a powerjazz). Flight times should be much the same due to the higher capacity 8s pack but at muh the same weight.

For example a 30-12 heli expert motor is $299 us or a actro 24-4 at $295 and a PJ $409 us or a schulze 32-80 at $435

compared to 1912H at $219 and something like CC HV 110 at $200

Please note this is just a general discussion about possible choices that can be made.

John, how high is your head speed on 10s ? or how low your govenor %? the 800kv motor should have the same issue as the 1912H neu (they want to run 2300-2400).

Run at 65% gov to get better endurance - guess HS ~ 2000 - I'll have to tach it tomorrow - it's enough for me - scary ! - at 85% the HS was 2200
