what gyros are you using, I was thinking about the eflight G90 as it is the only heading hold digital that is small enought. I think lots of you are using 401s but it is big. I would love to use a spartan, but it costs to much to use on a heli this tiny. I think the spartan 650 would be the best but it isnt out yet. I have a gy240 sitting around but it is big and doesnt do digital, so I dono about that. what do you guys think?

Ditto. It's tiny.

I am using the logictech 2100T.

I have bought the 2100T too, but I am still waiting for my heli to arrive. The 2100T is small. As small as the Spartan 760 (that I have installed, and love, on my T-rex 500)

I am using the logictech 2100T in the H200,and the futaba 401 in bigger helis.

Little telebee but I am only flying it round in circles at present works for standard flying! when I progress enough I will get something more steady.

I have used both 2100t and 401, and like the 2100t better... smaller, lighter, and holds perfectly... but I'm not pushing it hard :)

I am running a GY401 ... and am struggling to get a consistent piro rate! I also have chased gain from 20% up to 35%. However, whatever I do, this thing just can't piro in place with a little bit of wind. Do these Gauis just not have enough tail surface to be able to pirouette consistently?

I'm running a JR G770 3D with the S8900G tail servo. Works very well but tends to drift a bit in cold weather.

Edit: Oops, I thought I was in the 550 forum. Please disregard.

8900G on the gaui? I think not.

the 401 will not give you a constant piro rate, as it was not designed to do that. the spartan 760 the JR 770 and the 611 would give a constant piro rate.

See my edit, I was in the wrong forum. Yea, the 8900G would be a tad big for the gaui 200.

I think the GY611 would be much too big for a Hurricane EP200.

I have no problems with a consistent piro rate on my T-Rex 500 (running a GY401) in the same amount of wind. However, the 500 has a MUCH bigger tail rotordisc than the EP200.

A G770 and a 8900G would be just a little bit heavy on the Gaui 200, don't you think? :nanabobo

PS: Yes, I did see you edit

That is a serious gyro for that little heli!

Gyro/heli price ratio is almost 1:1 :happyd

yes I saw the edit, and yes the 611 would be a tad to big for the gaui, I was just listing constant piro rate giros.

What servo are you using? The tail servo must be of a very good quality. I am using Futaba S3154 digital servo.

that blue see-though rudder servo from walkera. but that wasn't the only problem.....

as the battery discharges, the calibraton got lost resulting in a more and more drift.....

Okay, so the majority opinion is the 2100, with good results from the 401.
I saw one review of the 2100, and I think it may be the winner, but servo and price... hmm

Hee, I'm starting to get enough parts together to be picky....

The blue servo you see on the pic was an experiment : http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=5195
I was looking for a fast servo and came across with this one. Actually, this servo is good too.

( PSINDRUP ) did you have any problems with the set up in the dx7?
