Soooo.....Here is my first flight. It's been windy in San Antonio with over 20 mph winds so I had to do it in the garage. The only other heli I own is my CX2 that I got a couple of months ago.
I'm already having some issues with the servos and I'm only on my 4th flight and haven't really crashed yet.
I hope I embed this youtube link correctly:

Pretty good hovering, but you should not be that close, and with your back against that wall you have no escape. I got hit by my Axe CP in my living room once and it hurt pretty bad, and it's a lot smaller and less powerful than the B400.

Nice job bro! Especailly without training gear for your first flight! Looks like you have slight tail wag? Try lowering your gyro gain a tad and see if it goes away.
I hear what sd0 is saying, but heck you have to do what you have to do! I too learned to hover in my garage exactly like you are!
Good luck!

I agree....The bird got a little close to me a couple of times. I know those blades would hurt even at just a hover.
I thought I was going to have to jump into my daughters "barbie car" (right behind me in the video) if it got too close again!
I was suprised at the amount of ground effect. I thought it wouldn't be that bad in the garage, but that's what I get when I think!
So I adjust the gyro DOWN to get rid of the tail wag, correct?
I can't wait to be able to actually fly it outside!

Good job, and correct. Just take her down 1 notch at a time.

There's a story about a guy who learned to fly his 60 sized heli in the garage. It backed him into a corner. You can guess the rest.
At least the B400 isn't that big. I still wouldn't want to get hit by it.

Yeah...I told my wife after watching the video that maybe I CAN be taught to dance!!!
I don't remember swaying that much to the heli in G4.....probably cause I was sitting down.
I guess they need to build a radio that responds to the cha-cha or the two-step or whatever other kind of sick swaying type of dance I was attempting to fly the bird with!
Again...the pink car in the background doesn't help the "masculinity" picture either!
Can someone put it up to the "Powers-that-be" and get the wind to stop here so I can actually fly it outside!

mikepmurf good flying, weather wise I'm in same boat as you, if its not rain then wind....
but if you can find a park with few tree that might help. I fly at my local park where there are no car since its winter here, but in summer time I would need to go to flying field.
keep up the good work, nice dancing also, my wife said the same thing to me. :rolling I move around also....
DA54 I did go to that Woodenville store great guys over there. Spend about 3 hr setting up my new 450 V2 I got for birthday :):):):):) Great little bird, still working one part at a time for 600. Getting use the bigger parts, and saving crash reserve for 600 since parts are lot more.
450 and B400 works great in this time since I get about 10 mins of flying between this 2 birds now.
Thanks for recommending...
