What battery for Servos with DX7

I have a Nitro 600 pro and DX7 system

I have just ordered a GYRO 401 & S9254

To power the DX7 system etc etc whats the best battery to go for i'm hearing things about loion pollymer and step downs etc :(:shock:

i am using 2S flight power system with step down at tail. Then i get solid 6V for good 8 flights.

3x 8717 at cyclic
Solid G + BLS251 at tail (i think i am going for that serv;) )
