Boy bites bullet, buys Stinger 30

Well, it started after Ray from RHR showed Mike (my son) the Stinger 30 ARF, during problems with the Hawk Sport.
* Beast did in the dampners (black) on Mike's Hawk in one flight!! Way to go Beast!! *
Mike and Ray made the deal, and Mike wanted to build it overnight in the motel room....Mom and I had to say hell no on that one. (11PM)

Knowing Mike, it will take a couple hours once we get home to have ready, and off we go to the field.

Nice to see the kids' responsibility, it's his money and he's going after what he wants.

The Stinger will serve him well. Good little bird and will really come to life with an OS37 in it !! :shock:

Better keep Beast away from it though !!! heheheee :mrgreen:

Wasn't Beast's fault. It's just a stock Sport, no upgrades.
It's amazing how dampners can reduce pitch under a load to the point it will not even lift off.
We already have the 37, and the chrome pipe from Century. Will likely go for a MPII shortly.
Mike did his first flip to inverted at the FF too, so now He's all stoked up, and ready to move up.

That is great news...... first flip to inverted...... WhaaaHooooo !!! Sounds like you have an up and coming 3D'er on your hands !

I was just pickin' at the Beast...... great guy and can punish a heli !!!! Now Beast does HARD 3D !!! that's for sure !!!
