Can you give me a little help in getting mine dialed in well? Understanding that there is a wide variety of elevations, ambient temps/weather represented here on this board, what are your baseline settings?
Aproximately how many turns out from closed on the main are you using as your "fail safe"/default position?
How much throw are you allowing to the rich and lean sides of that setting?
What temp are you allowing it to regulate to? (initial testing for me has shown the motor likes 110C)
What kind of Gain are you running on the Carb Smart? (I went with a suggested ~50%)
This is my first experience with an "injected" motor like the YS. The problem I am having that I am looking to sort out is that I am getting a "twitch" in my tail (even in a hover) that I am attributing to it not running in a clean 2 cycle. It seems to sort itself out (go away)after 3 or 4 minutes or so but that seems odd with the carb smart. Is my gain too high? Am I giving it too much throw on the rich side? Any help would be appreciated. BTW, the belt is not missing any teeth nor are any of my drive gears. (also confirmed by the fact that the "twitch" goes away).
Chris.
