I'm curious.....................if you are really new to helis why you want to upgrade to a Titan 50? If I were you, I'd consider just flying the heck out of it the way it is and learn all the basics.

Spend your money on fuel, you will get more for your dollar

One thing to consider is after you spend all the money to upgrade your "V1" to a titan (wich first you will have to upgrade to a "V2") you may be to afraid to fly it and risk your investment.

The best thing to do is buy fuel, when you crash, and yes you will crash, the replacement parts you have to purchase to get it back in the air, replace them with what will eventualy make it a titan.

BTW, you said you want to make things better then when you got them. A "V1" is a good heli. One of the guys at my field has a "V1" and a "V2" and only flies the "V1", don't know why, he just does.

In fact it won't be better, it will just be DIFFERENT! You will have taken a 30 size heli and made a 50 size heli out of it. Whole different machine! Why not buy a 50 Titan and be done??

Money better spent learning to fly it! There will be plenty of $80 to $150 crashes to soak up that extra cash in your wallet.
