Night Blades (video)

Same crappy flying, same crappy wnd, better camera.

My son was the cameraman and it was pretty dark (lightened with editor) so he lost me a couple of times but I think it came out okay.

Not bad. You do realize just how close you came to hitting the fence at one point.

Try working on hovering with the heli about chest high. You have a tendency to fly just out of ground effect. I know it's pretty easy to stay there because the heli will rise when you drop into ground effect and fall if you get a little too much above it. Learning to hover chest high will fix the yo-yo. (I'm still working on it too, so this is the pot calling the kettle black.)

I know there are alot of things at play, I'm hoping most of the yo-yo is just me fighting the winds or maybe rusty thumbs. Even in these winds or more so in these winds I try to keep her eye level gives me time to react. I used to over react and CRASH so I am getting better still need polish though. Practice makes perfect - not sure I will get there but its still fun just do be out there and hear it now I dont crash as often.

Which blades are those? I mostly fly at night so I need a set, but what fits the B400?

They are align carbon 325's LHS sells for 99.00 just the blades, got them from Heli direct for 50.00 WITH the charger. Have to use 1/16 washers to shim it out.

Saw the night blades first hand this evening and I was very impressed. Really bright and the handling was solid with them.

Yes I did and kept flying it anyhow until I noticed more teeth missing right beside it. All better now

Yes, I have 2 flood lights out back cam shows it darker then it acutally is.

Thanks. Its was the first thing I picked up. Its a slight case of Hyper Observance. It comes in handy some times, but you do not want to watch a movie with me. Unless of coarse you want me to point out all the eroors;)

Did you not see my post (got batts)? I have a mutt mixture. My favs are Loong-Max 2250 20C the deans is a bit tight, but this batt really feels like a good combo for power/weight. I do have a 3400G mounted on the boom so the extra weight on the tail is welcomed.
