To be short and sweet, this is an early run stinger 30, and I have yet to call, but intend to this afternoon...
During the build, I followed procedure, and tore the ARF to kit form. There was little to no threadlocker used.
There were two stripped holes in the pitch arm, one a servo mount hole, the other thru the arm and into the servo mount itself.
The auto hub is extremely tight, lube makes no difference.
The main gear is warped.
Tail pitch slider seized to output shaft.
Numerous loose setscrews or bolts on the machine, really glad I tore it down to check!
Will update after I make recieve an email and report what happens.
Thought I could call, but no phone number to be found...

There was a number of issues with the early run Stinger 30's that have been addressd and are no longer issues on current kits.
There is a toll free number that you can call.
Toll Free: 800-381-4127
There is often no answer but if you leave a mesage the call will be returned.
David is normally very good about taking care of any issues, new or old.

I don't want to start any more grief for Gohbee, but it would be a wise choice to selectivly check a few bolts, especially on the head assembly.
Don't forget, Mikey's (my son) is an early run, and most issues have likely been addressed.

Well, I can say that the customer relations aspect of Gohbee is great!
David emailed me numbers, and I called him (My suggestion). We discussed the problems areas, and chatted for a bit.
The parts should arrive in a few days!
He did confirm that this is an early, very early production run, and that these issues have been addressed on all new machines!
Thanks David!
BTW: the tail pitch slider issue disappeared after a couple drops of tri-flow!

I had a very early run Stinger 30, yes, it had some QC issues. All have been straightened out, that I know about.
David Ellison is a quality guy and will take care of you. Let me know if you have further problems.

I'll second that!
The parts arrived today, UPS at their expense.
Gotta say thanks to you guys for the info, and thanks to David for getting the parts to us so quickly!

We managed to get a couple flights out of it.
There was a new issue to crop up, and a quick email to David has already gotten the parts on the way!
Mike enjoyed himself, especially since he bought this chopper for himself!
14 and working to support his habi...er hobby is pretty cool IMHO.
