Anyone using JR DS285 servos in the 200?

Hi. Been thinking of buying my 2nd heli. Choices are the Gaui 200 or Trex 500. I have 3 JR DS-285 servos lying around and was wondering if they could work well in the Gaui. I know they strip easily and that's why they are lying around. Took them off the 450 V2. If they work well I may just buy the 200 especially with all the ESD/Brownout issues with the Trex 500.

Here are the dimension of the Hitec HS-45 Im running on the 200: Size: 23.6 x 9.8 x 22.4mm (.92 x .38 x .88") They fit perfect. Hope it helps.

I may just buy the 200 especially with all the ESD/Brownout issues with the Trex 500.

Don't let the static issue hold you back.

Spay the belt with either silicone of Graphite 33, and do the motor mount grounding and you are good to go. If you really want to play it safe, perform the tail grounding as well, or upgrade to the metal tail unit, and sand the boom to get connectivity.

I have the T-rex 500 and even though it is a very lovely heli, it hasn't kept me from ordering the little bumble bee Gaui 200. :banana
