Well, I've just taken the first jump into the heli world and bought a trex 450 along with a few other goodies, though I will need a bit more before it's flying. Anyway, I want to get a small heli for indoor, just to mess around with. Something with good control, good enough to fly indoors that is. I was looking at the Walkera 5#6, is there something better? Thanks guys!

Btw, I'd very much prefer a rtf, thanks.

It's not too expensive, comes ready to fly. I fly mine in my bedroom when I'm bored and it's a nice size bedroom so I take off from the bed fly around abit and land on the bed because the landing gear is weak, easy to control and if there's alomost no wind you can fly it outside. Flew mine so high it was just a dot in the sky. If you drill 2 holes in the canopy you can get at the gain trimmer pot and the main motor mix without having to take the canopy off which is a pain. Another tip: for the landing gear, take them off right out the box and stick some roofing nails in each hole instead. You'll save alot of money on gear.

End of Line,
Hawk

Walkera 4#3, same size as the 5#6 but it's a proper FP instead of a coaxial.

Takes a small amount of setup, and you need to change the flybar from carbon fiber to steel or titanium. I got a Ti one from the UK importer.

It does about 6-10 minutes per pack, depending on the wear on the motor, and the batteries are cheap. You can reinvigorate the brushed motor by removing it from the model, spraying some WD40 into it and spinning it over with your fingers a few times.

It's also pretty robust, which is handy because it's a touch squirrelly until you get used to it.

I've got a video of my mate who's only been flying it for a month or so. I'll upload it to youtube so you can have a gander.
