My R617FS receiver has the channel 7 marked as 7/B, which indicates that the battery should be plugged here with a Y-lead. OK so far,
But I did another thing, since the gyro gain lead has only the signal wire, I plugged the battery +and- lead to this connector, and plugged in to channeş 5 without using a y-lead. Much cleaner installation, one less plug to worry about. My t-rex 600 maiden/break in went OK with this setup.
But I wonder, why did Futaba mark channel 7 specifically as battery port? Is it different/higher capacity or something else? Do you think that there is a possiblity of problems when the servos are more loaded during flips etc because I plugged the battery lead into channel 5(gain)?
