Also keep an eye on Ebay. I picked up a used copy a couple weeks ago for $99 + shipping. It is rare for someone to sell, but it happens. Depends how long you're willing to wait.

yeah, i've been checking out ebay too. Heliguy seems to be out of stock currently but at least heliguy is cheaper than buying direct. However, the price is creeping up because of the dwindling dollar. glad that phoenix is a lot cheaper than xtr and realflight. i'll try one of the free heli sims and see how that works out for now.
