Just finished up my 200
HS 45 Cyclic
2100T LTS-3100 tail
FP 2s 800 mah
Trimmed it all up and added some expo because this thing is fast!
also made a mod to the frame to fit the gyro, I will have to take pics but right behind the anti rotation bar in the back I dremeled out some of the frame to make a flat surface, then gut a piece of G10 and CA'ed it ot the frame, then sat the gyro on it flat. I am nervous because it a top mount and potential flybar strike looms but I am very happy with the results.
Now to charge up more packs anf FLY!!

Do you mean underneath the battery tray? Like, between the skids?

Yeah, or right next to the motor if it'll fit. I'd be concerned about the battery banging the ground on a hard landing if it were between the skids.

Only problem I have with hat is if the skids break and puncture the pack

Putting the Rx at the back will probably make it very tail heavy - check it first

I am almost able to fully compensate for the weight, I am very slight tilting back right now on CG

Sorry, but what is G10?
Could I ask you to take a close-up picture of the "G10 arrangement"?
(Building my Gaui 200 right now, and OMG it is small!!)

Thanks Ken
I still think I prefer to have the battery on the original battery tray, and the gyro where crabfu has his. Do you think it has to be absolutely horizontal to work? Or could I just install it without Dremling the frame down?

hi peter...if you're referring to the gyro, i'd install it on a platform that is 'absolutely horizontal', as you stated...i selected my batteries (tp, common sense, hyperion) so they fit between the frames...although with my battery mount, i can attach wider batteries with no problems...ken

G10 is is very similar to carbon fiber, a bit heavier but stronger, and is non conductive.
