hey im new to this forum and to rc helis........i was flying last week when i crashed my blade 400...after finally getting the replacement parts that i needed i went to test it out......it turns out that the gears in one of my servos (the back right cyclic/collective servo) is missing teeth and now it doesnt work properly.....my question is.........is there a way to fix the gear or do i need a whole new servo or even an entire set of servos? If i need to buy a new one, which brand and model of servo do you suggest i get.....id prefer to buy something of decent quality..
cheers,

some servo you can buy parts and fix it but some you nee to buy new one .. check with servo manufacture
Some time when the servo break you can replace the gears and work again, some time they don't, if you're or ordering some replacement gears then buy a servo with it just in case.
On my friend 400 every servo he break I was only be able to fix one of them. I had no luck fixing any of the digital ones. That's the expense of crashing the blade 400 it kills servos.

For future crashes, if you upgrade all 3 cyclic servos to Hitec HS65MG then you will probably never have to replace another servo for a long long time. They have metal gears and are very robust, almost crash proof. You can get new servo gears for the E-Flite servos, but 1 time of replacing gear sets and you will see the wisdom of a hard to break servo.
