This showed up in my LHS today. Had to have one.
Was a snap to install. I have not settled on a decal scheme for it yet.
Kit came with decals and new white skids.

Has anyone seen one on line? I woulld like to get one so that I could make a Kiowa out of it. Considering that is what flies off the base I am on that would be cool.

My LHS has 6 of each style, I thought about getting one also, but I don't fly the cx2 as much anymore.

It's a pain to put on the regular body, Does look very nice, might actually get me to fly my CX2 again. Landing gear still cheap plastic? I've bin useing roofing nails instead. Go a head and say that I must suck at landing but really it doesn't take much to break one of those things (landing gear) if ya fly outside anyway.

Thes skids appear to be more flexible than the stock skids.
I got used to the indestructable skids from Boomtown

Should I really get it? I'm over budget on my hurricaine 550 as is. I really don't see how that would be easy to put on?

Well I can't tell you whether or not to get one. However I can tell you installation was easy.
6 screws easy.
Remove flybar and blades. Remove old shell and skids. slip new shell over nekkid heli install new body mount rods. Install new skids. Replace rotor blades and flybar.
Done.
Took all of 10 minutes for me and I was goofing off while swapping the shells.

I will have pics posted tommorow. I really messed up on the camera I got, It's ok actually it's pretty good for video, Which i have and can't post yet (working on it) but my brother has a simple USB camera so I'll take my Night blades, 2 hurricane 550 canopys, 1 new CX2 canopy and my neon orange tail blades to his place tommorow and post. still confused on why the night blades didn't come with a charger or at least a hint that you'll need to buy one seperately but there's a charge in the so they will be lit in the pic.

I got mine installed.... took me longer to find that dang screw-driver (left it out of the tool box) than anything else. I would say maybe 7 minutes tops!! I had to re-trim just a hint for some reason....
Here are some pics :)
