Where do you mount it? The recommendation is 10 cm away from the motor to keep it away from electrical interference, which puts it on the nose of the battery tray. But that means shoehorning the battery in over it, and it leaves the heli tail heavy. Better would be on the battery tray directly beneath the main shaft with the battery in front as usual. More protection for the gyro, better center of gravity. But how about the electrical interference with the motor? Anyone?

i have it on the battery tray where the frame begins,(inside) towards the motor.
fm-receiver is in between.
no issues, although i had some servo jitter at low head speed.

Here is where I mounted mine. Never had any interference from the motor. I think the small size of the motor helps, if it was a 600 sized motor it might be a different story....

I am using a 2.4 receiver so that may make a difference.

Other than mounting the gyro way out on the battery tray there is no other location on this heli's frame that would allow you to mount it 10cm (100mm) away from the motor without adding a gyro mount. That said, with the motor being as small as it is, you can probably cut that distance in half with this heli and not have any issues. Electro magnetic interference is the concern and the field this motor generates is pretty small. I would be more concerned with wire bundles tucked in close to the gyro, receiver, or ESC. A ferrite ring in the right place always seems to be the ticket to cure interference issues (if shortening wires isn't your cup of tea).
