I just finnished building my first heli, Trex 450. The Gyro is a Telebee, the radio is a DX7, rudder servo is a S9650. I have watched the Fin Vid on the Telebee until my eyes crossed.

My problem / question is:
My servo / gyro do not respond to the drift like in the vid. It never stops drifting one way or the other even with sub trim. When I adjust the gain manually the servo moves from center and I have to re-set the servo position, then the same thing happens. The gain on the transmitter does not seem to have any affect on a hard tail wag nor does the manual gain adjust on the gyro. Is my gyro just not good enough, wrong servo? Any info or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. My son in law and I are trying to learn and love the heli's. There is no local field, or experienced pilot, or LHS, to help within a hours drive. Thanks to the forum for getting this far.

Happy Easter

well i'm a no0b myself, and no experience with your gyro. i just went threw a battle with my 401, and luckily i won. i'm not sure on the quality of the gyro, but you can never go wrong with a futaba. at $130 to me a bit pricey, but worth every penny spent. now that it clicks in my mind it's as easy as pie to setup. i'm sure someone will chime in and help.

The telebee gyro sets up a little different than a 401....

you need to watch the gyro set up finless does on the hdx300 ....

he uses an align/telebee gyro and explains how to get rid of that drift you are getting.....
