i have just put together my new 600cf t-rex. whit 611 gyro and dx7 radio. tested it yestorday and it just hovers betufly.but there is one issue here.on one wideo i dowloaded from helifreak(whits i realy recomand when you are going toput together your new heli, because in the wideo he goes in to so detals that you cant do wrong, not for me anyway :)"took a picture from the video so you know what i meanhttp://www.helifreak.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=42916&stc=1&d=1206281473.i couldent get the tailservo to work, because i put the 5.1 regulator between the gyro and tail servo.as shown on the picture.so i tried many other options, and i got the tail sero to work when i put the 5.1 regulator between the BEC and the reciver.is this a problem?? because it means that the reciver wil get less power, which means that the servoes i use for my swashplat will get less power, and they are capable for 6.0v. will they get slower or?? what should i do here peoples.as i said, the bird flyes beautefly but i dont like this change i had to do to get it to work. cani juse this settupp or do i have to change it .and whit this setupp i have, does my swash seroes work slower?? appretiate any help here.

i have the stepdown between the gyro and servo and it works just fine that way.

make sure you are not overlooking something silly and try again.

also, i can't tell from the photo, but the stepdown (regulator as you call it) looks like it is the one wrapped with black shrink tubing. this one is ONLY rated for ONE servo--going between the gyro and servo. you must get the one wrapped with RED shrink tubing if you want to step down the entire electronics. the diode in the black one is not rated for that many amps and i'm afraid it might blow out on you if you are stepping down everything to 5.1v, which could be catestrophic.
