Default HBFP Initial gyro/proportional settings

I just finished cobbleing together a new Honey Bee FP bird. I found a used E-Flite 3-in-1 for her and would like some input to where the initial settings of the gyro gain and proportion mixer should be.

Thanks!

Start with the gain at about 45 - 48% and the propo about 50%. Spin up to lift-off ( a 6 - 12 inch hop should be sufficient) and observe the direction the heli wants to yaw. If it yaws nose left, increase propo. Yaw right - decrease propo. The battery must be unplugged and re-plugged between changes to save the settings. Once the nose holds relatively straight, start increasing gain. Increase it until the tail starts to twitch, then back it off until the twitching stops.

You may still have to compromise some between propo and gain, since tail-rotor helis are so finicky. Trial and error - you'll get there.

Thanks!

I'm in the process of learning to fly helis more complicated than the little Co-ax birds I have so trimming it might prove interesting.
