Hi Guys

I almost finish my 500, with Senior Fineless Video ( of course) and Bob say it use 6V for the HS-5245MG that really make them faster? reason i ask the Align step down is backorder again!

My gyro will be a GY401 and S9257

You can use 6V for the 5245's, but unless you have a stepdown, you'll fry your 9257, since that only works with 4.8v I think.

The higher voltage adds torque and speed, but again in your case it won't do you any good. You'll have to set the Align ESC/BEC up with the lower voltage until you can get the stepdown for the tail.

I check the 5245's spec. detail and it said the servo operate at 4.8V, so I think I gonna use 4.8V for all the system 5245 and 9257, it perfect good, and the torque will not over load the cases

run your system at 5.5 volt the 9257 can handle that, plus it will raise the speed and tork of all your servos.

the align stepdown is cheap. run 6v...you'll get more torque and speed out of the 5245s. just run the 9257 on 4.8.

bah..340...it's a 440 6-barrel (six-packs are dodges--plymouths have 6-barrels; though that's all symantic...the extra cubes are not :smokin:)

have a look if you like (http://homepage.mac.com/cudaboy_71/automobilia/PhotoAlbum6.html)

oh, and thanks. but, 5 mpg sucks about now though.
