I have the origional triton battery charger, not the Jr. or the new Triton II. I bought it for bcharging my lipo batterys from the same shop at the same time as the lipo batteries, this was my first lipo experience. I soon noticed that it said not Lipo but Li-ion. Can I still use this to charge my lipo batteries without more danger or possible damage, I cant seem to get a straight answer. Any helpfull insight is greatly appreciated.

In your manual on page 8 and 9 it describes charging lipo's and li-ion batteries

Okay in the manual for the original triton where ever it states Li-ion it also has lipo (li-ion/lipo)
So I would say that it is safe for what you need.
here is link to manual if needed

There should be a Green Dot sticker on the case. If not, it shouldn't be used to charge lipos.

There is no green dotsticker, do you know what that means ? What should I do now, I feel as if I should have been told this at the store since they sold me the li-pos and this charger for them, That sucks. I wonder if the Mnfg. will do an upgrade or something like that.
Thanks for all your help.

If it is brand new and no green dot, you shouldn't use it with lipos.
The Tech Note on it seems to be missing. But IIRC, the green dot signifies a firmware update to work properly with lipos.
I would try to see if the shop will take it back and give you a charger that will do what you need.
They must have had that sitting around for a LONG time. My triton is about 4 years old and is a Green Dot version.
BTW the green dot will not be on the front panel, but the ends or bottom.
